EMT's intrusive pig indicator can install on the pig launcher and receiver. And it is a detection instrument used to confirm the launch or arrival of the pig. It can install on anywhere or on the pipeline and will find pigging for all types of pipelines. Our intrusive pig indicators use a unique magnetic system which can prevent fluid exchange plugging. So it eliminates the risk of action seal leaks, while the instrument's trigger adds flexibility and reduces maintenance.
At the same time, in application, pig indicator are suitable for pipe sizes above 2 ". Moreover, for 2" flange connection, the design pressure range of the product is from ANSI 150# to ANSI 2500#. And the maximum design pressure of boss connection is 10000 psi (69mpa). Finally, the working temperature of the pig indicator should maintain between - 20 º C and + 120 º C. We can also provide special sealing means for working temperatures outside this range.
Before installing the flange connection pig indicator, the flange meeting the installation mode and requirements of the instrument shall install on the pipeline in advance. That is, flange specification, grade, mounting holes distribution, etc. shall comply with ANSIB16.5 or customized standards. The distance from the top surface of the flange to the inner wall of the pipe shall comply with the customized size.
Maintenance of Pig Indicator :
When there is leakage above the flange base of the device, the seal of the device is damaged. Disassembly and replacement are necessary. Externally visible seals can directly replace directly, and we recommend to return other internal seals to the factory for replacement.
Before removing the flange base of the non-pressurized type pig indicator, the pipeline or system in which it is located must depressurized.
When disassembling the movement of the pressure-removable through-ball indicator with its own ball valve, it is necessary to use the provided simple tool.
It needs special tools to disassemble other pressurized dismountable through pig indicators.
