Rogers Poron 4701-40 is a soft and easily compressed polyurethane foam series. The thickness ranges from 0.031" to 0.500" (0.79 mm to 12.7 mm), and density is available of 320 or 400 kg/m3 (20 or 25lb/ft3). It's very soft and flexible, and has excellent compression set resistance and durability and also benefit with noise reduction and wide operation temperature from -51 to 121ºC. It has option to be supported with 2mil Polyester film or laminate with 3M adhesive tapes like 3M 467, 3M9495LE and die cut into custom shape size for easily application

The very soft PORON 4701-40 polyurethane foam is ideal in applications where flexibility is a key requirement. It's very soft and have excellent compression resistance and good chemical resistance,which provides durable, long-term performance of sealing, gasketing, cushioning and gap filling in various industrial applications. Whether in gasket design, sealing purpose, cushioning or vibration management, the PORON series foam products are low-outgassing, non-fogging, non-corrosive and will not become brittle and crumble during application.
PORON 4701-40 can be used as flexible gasket in the industry of EV batteries pads, Automotive gap filling, LCD Display sealing and fixation and other Electronic components shock absorption, etc.
