The enhanced alloy indefinite chilled cast iron roll is developed based on the common alloy infinite shilled cast iron roll, its process is achieved by, on the basic of 30%-40% cementite, 3-5% pallet-shaped graphite and martensite or bainite, adding into special carbide-forming elements V, W, Ti, Nb etc. Which becaome finr and highly distributed hard carbides pauticles so that the resistance to wear of the roll is strengthened. Additionally, differing from the traditional alloy indefinite chilled cast iron roll, the pellet-shaped graphite formed inside the material can effectively stop the formation and expansion of the heat cracking, so it can improve the performance of anti-thermal fatigue.
Thanks to its higher content of Ni and Mo alloys, pearlite, basinite and martensite matrixes with excellent performance are produced. The graphite is spherical form, demonstraing good heat transfer property and high tensile strength. Through changing the struture into basinite of marensite matrix, chemical compostion of needly-like spherical iron of heat treatment, a dense reticular primary cementite with high wear-resistance is produced.
