Series 40 M46 Axial Piston Tandem Pump
The M46 pump is designed for medium power applications with a maximum load pressure of 345 bar [5000 psi]. This series of pumps can be combined with other products to formsystems to deliver and control hydraulic energy. The M46 pump is capable of infinitely variable speed from zero to maximum speed in both forward and reverse operating modes. M46 pumps are compact, high power density components. All models feature a parallel arranged axial plunger/sliding shoe design concept combined with tiltable swashplate to vary the pump displacement. The direction of the pump outlet fluid varies with the swashplate direction, thus changing the motor output shaft rotation of the motor output shaft. The M46 pump can include an integrated charge pump to provide supplementary hydraulic fluid, cooling fluid, and servo control fluid to the system. The M46 pump can be equipped with a series of auxiliary mounting flanges for tandem connection of auxiliary hydraulic pumps. The M46 pump is available with proportional control with manual, hydraulic, or electrical drive. Electrically controlled three-position control is also available.
