Manual Tang Break-Off Tool
The simple manual tang removal tool is suitable for low volume tang removal and is used
for insert sizes up to 1/2" or M12.
On larger sizes the multipurpose installation and tang break tool should be used. For tang removal, the tool is simply lifted and turned 90°, which will put the slot at right angles to the tang, then pushed downward with a sharp blow.
