Paraffin wax can be classified into three types based on refinement: fully refined, semi-refined, and crude. The main difference lies in the oil content. Fully refined paraffin wax has an oil content of less than 0.8%, while semi-refined paraffin wax has an oil content of less than 1.5%. Crude wax, on the other hand, has an oil content of less than 2%. Apart from oil content, there may be slight variations in color, with higher oil content resulting in a more yellowish hue. However, advancements in technology allow for precise control of oil content, ensuring that different customer needs can be met.
