Its main component is silica. As a desiccant, it has an average pore size of 2.4 nanometers and has a strong affinity for water molecules. It absorbs water through physical adsorption, does not change its state after absorbing moisture, and has a strong hygroscopic ability, which can effectively protect food or medicine from moisture. |
