Product Description
Sintered silicon carbide (SiC) ceramic is a new kind of bullet-proof ceramic material, with low density, high strength, high hardness, high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance and other excellent performances. Now it's the preferred general material for bulletproof ceramic pieces, mechanical seals, sand jets as well as magnetic pumps, shielding pump components, etc.
We produce sintered silicon carbide ceramics taking high purity sub-micron silicon carbide powder as raw material, according to the advanced formula imported from Japan, through the spray granulation, pressure molding and high temperature vacuum sintering. As the structure inside is compact, small grains, bullet-proof performance of this product is superior. The breast armor plates made of silicon carbide from our company have reached the standard NIJ0101.06III,IVand passed the grade IIIV bullet-tests held by National Bulletproof Equipment Testing Center for many times. Furthermore this product has successfully passed the target test certificated by the PLA. Nowadays the PLA troops are equipped with this ceramics composite armor.
