REGISTERING MECHANISM
1.The registering mec anism shall be of a Liquid Crystal Display ( LCD ) having a 6 ( six ) or more digitdisplay in Kwh including 1 decimal place . The ei t of the digit shall be mm and width shall be 5mm
2.The LCD display shall be of good quality an shall not deteriorate during the service life of the meter .The display values shall be sharp and have good contrast with the background . The LCD shall have a lifeexpectancy of 15 years under normal temperature and humid condition .
3.The LCD shall have a backlit display for easy reading of display parameter in low light conditions . The 7segments LCD shall display accurately cumulative active energy with maximum demand
4.The LCD can be set to operate even if mains pnot available , that is meter reading can be takenby pressing or touching button or by any oter means even during power failure conditions . For thatpurpose the meter shall have a lithium , non-rechargeable , maintenance free battery to support fordisplaying the register values during mains power outagbattery will also support the functionalityof Real Tme lok The mmm ev i e f e batery shall be 15 ( Fifteen ) years and the batterycapacity shall be at least 1600 MAH . The battery life and capacity shall be supported by test report
