Application: Sunflower musk can be used in the formulation of many flavors and as a fixative. It is an artificial musk that is one of the best aromas among the nitro-containing artificial musks; It is also one of the commonly used nitro musks. It is suitable for all kinds of daily fragrances, but due to the toxic effect on human skin and nerves, the international organization IFRA (International Fragrance Association) has recommended that this product should not be used in perfumes, cosmetics and other fragrances since October 1985.
Chemical properties: Light yellow flake crystals. The melting point is 84-86 °C, and the boiling point is 185 °C (2.13kPa). Soluble in ether, slightly soluble in ethanol. Insoluble in water, flash point 65 °C.
Uses: This product is the most elegant variety of nitro musk, with amber musk aroma, domestic and foreign mass production, in the nitro spice production of the largest, one of the most widely used spice varieties, mainly used in the preparation of various spices and essences as a fixative, especially suitable for high-end perfumes. The dosage in some fragrances is: soap 0.03-0.2%, detergent 0.003-0.02, perfume 0.2-2.0%, balm and lotion 0.01-0.07%.
