Felt Sleeve for sammying & spread machine
Our company produces sleeves and endless felt for discontinuous or continuous setting out machines. These machines are used to stretch, smooth the leather, and squeeze out excess moisture in order to increase the surface of the leather before drying.
During the regime of the machine, the tight sleeve felt firstly suck the extra chemicals such as water, silling, dye, etc. From the skin then let them leak out.
This process is carried out either by a sammying machine with two rollers covered with sleeves or by a setting out machine with one roller covered with a sleeve. A blunt spreading helical blade stretches the hide. All the sleeves are perfectly dimensionally stabilized and treated to avoid any risk of fiber loss. And the setting out felt has a special surface treatment which optimizes the stretching effect.
