Magnesium chloride is a chloride with the chemical formula MgCl2. Anhydrous magnesium chloride is a white shiny hexagonal crystal with a melting point of 714°C and a boiling point of 1412°C. It has a very strong deliquescent property, which is higher than that of 6-water magnesium chloride and 2-water magnesium chloride. The physical and chemical properties are basically the same as hexahydrate magnesium chloride. 6. Transportation industry:
Used as a road ice and snow melting agent, it has a fast deicing speed and is less corrosive to vehicles, which is higher than the effect of sodium chloride.
7. Medicine:
It can be used for medicinal purposes to make "dried bittern" with magnesium chloride.
8. Agriculture:
It can be used as magnesium fertilizer, potassium magnesium fertilizer and cotton defoliant.
