Horizontal Disc Sludge Dryer is mainly composed of a stator (that is, an outer cylinder), a rotor (a shaft tube with a heating disc), a power system, and a steam heating system. The stator is a cylindrical cylinder with an outer jacket, and the upper part is a semicircular dome. Saturated steam is passed into the jacket, the bottom of the jacket has a condensed water outlet, and the top of the dome has a mixed steam outlet to discharge the evaporated mixed steam. In addition, there is a feed port, through which the wet material enters the body, and a side discharge port at the discharge end of the cylinder is used to discharge the dried material. At the same time, the level of the material in the machine can be adjusted appropriately by adjusting the flap door of the side discharge port. A bottom discharge port is also provided at the bottom of the discharge end of the cylinder as a backup option for the discharge port. The endplates at both ends of the cylinder body are provided with inspection ports, which can be used for inspection, maintenance, and emptying of materials in the body when needed. A cleaning device is arranged on the inner side of the dome for self-cleaning of the heating disc. The rotor consists of a hollow shaft tube and several groups of heating discs welded on the shaft tube. The shaft tube is filled with saturated steam and the steam is distributed to the heating discs. The condensed water and non-condensable gas are discharged from the shaft end through the rotary joint. The outer edge of each heating disc is provided with a flat scraper and an oblique scraper. The flat scraper is used for turning the material to make the material contact with the heating disc more fully. The inclined scraper is used to push the material so that the material moves slowly along the cylinder to the direction of the discharge port. The drying of the material is to heat the shaft tube and the disc by saturated steam, and make it fully contact the material for heat exchange so that the wet medium in the material is volatilized, and then discharged through the mixed steam outlet. The rotor is driven by the power system to rotate, and the speed can be adjusted as needed.
