The Preformed pole top make off is primarily intender for pole top termination of stay strand when a stay insulator is being used.The fitting is manufactured with three strands of high tensile and one strand of medium tensile galvanized steel wire .When applied at the pole top,the completed tail forms the correct stranding and diameter of stay wire to suit the range of guy grip dead ends shown on the data sheet.The guy grip dead end is attached to the stay insulator ,avoiding the need for a separate of stay strand .
The Pole top make off is suitable for varying pole diameter,it is also available in two lengths,to permit alternative pole top insulator spacing.
