Product Description
Tubing Retrievable Safety Valves provide well control in the event of a damaged wellhead. Full open tubing flow insures that production is not limited by the safety valve. Significant advancement in tubing retrievable safety valve technology provides an optimum safety system with a completion life in excess of wireline retrievable solutions. Subsurface safety valves are typically set 100ft or deeper below mud line.
The Tubing Retrievable Safety Valves offer unmatched protection from low end standard service through H P/HT applications. With the Safety Valves, you can count on premium performance, reliability and service life in operating environments with working pressures from 5,000 psi to 10,000 psi and temperatures from 20 to 300 degrees ft .
The safety valve is controlled from the surface via a small diameter hydraulic control line connecting the safety valve to the emergency shut-down system. Since the valve is of the normally closed type, when the applied control line pressure is removed, the valve returns to the closed position thus shutting in the well.
