Mgo board (moisture proof board) is a factory-made, non-insulating sheathing board product. It can be used for several applications including wall and ceiling linings, facias, soffits, tile backing and underlayment.

MGO board is made of magnesium oxide, magnesium chloride/magnesium sulfate, and water. After configure and adding additives, stable performance of magnesia gelled material, with alkali glass fiber network in reinforced material, lightweight materials as filler compound and into a new type of incombustible decorates material. Adopting special production process, fire protection, waterproof, tasteless, non-toxic, not frozen, not corruption, not crack, unchanged, non-combustible, high strength light weight, convenient construction, long service life, etc.

According to the different raw material and technology, MGO board can be divided common mgo board and sanding mgo board.

Magnesium oxide board is a type of sheathing board (sort of like drywall or cement board) but with much improved characteristics such as fire resistance, weather ability, strength, resistance to mold, mildew, and so on.

Features:

1.Fire proof

It was tested by the National Center for Quality Supervision and Testing of Fire Building

Materials(NFTC). Its fireproof level is rated level A (non-flammable level)

2. Damp proof

It is excellent in moisture-resistance. Dry bending strength is 18Mpa.Bending strength under absorbed moisture is 22Mpa.

3. Heat insulation

It has heat prevention material incorporated, it has great feature of heat prevention.

Thermal resistance is 1.14m2k/w

4. Sound proof

It is proved to have good noise insulation property after inspected by the National Center for Quality Supervision and Testing of Fire Building Materials(NFTC), The noise insulation factor of the wall can reach over 42dB.It has the best noise insulation constitution in China, it also can save time, space, weight and expense. It is a new and high efficient wall

5. Compact resistance

It is a light board. Its density is less than 1.0*1.03kg/m3. At the same time its bending

strength and impact resistance is excellent. Also, it will maintain its quality during construction
