Procedure:- Prepare medical articles
- Ware medical gloves.
- Romove from the bottle only enough strips for immediate use and replace cap tightly.
- Completely immerse reagent areas of the strip in fresh, well-mixed urine for 1 second. Take out the strip immedicately to avoid dissolving out the reagent areas( square filter color pads)
- While taking out, touch the side of the strip against the rim of the urine container to remove excess urine.
- Proper read timeis critical for optimal results.
- Compare each reagent area(square filter color pad) to its corresponding color blocks on the color chart and read at the times specified.
- Obtain results by direct color chart comparison.
- Throw used medical articles into medical garbage bag.
