Green sand production line process: The journey begins with clay sand, a modeling (core) sand bound by clay. Modernizing the sand recovery process is critical in the foundry domain, as it directly affects casting quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. The complex recycling and treatment of used sand involve intensive processing and transportation tasks under harsh conditions, necessitating mechanized solutions. Post-pouring and cooling, sand molds are gently separated using a vibrating shakeout machine. Hot castings proceed to the shot blasting area via scale conveyors. The shakeout machine's sand outlet utilizes a belt conveyor to channel old sand to the regeneration zone, where suspended magnetic separators await to sift out iron contaminants. Dust is efficiently evacuated, while screened sand moves to small silos, cooled by a boiling cooling bed. A 2# bucket elevator elevates old sand to storage silos. Vibrating disc feeders ensure precision in distribution among sand bins. From there, old sand merges with coal powder and bentonite via a screw feeder, achieving a balanced mix in the rotor sand mixer. Processed sand then embarks on a fresh voyage through the molding machine, ready for new creations.
