TGIC ( Triglycidyl Isocyanurate)
TGIC ( Triglycidyl Isocyanurate) is an isocyanurate based crystalline polyepoxide compound. Its molecular weight is 297, CAS number 2451-62-9. It has good heat resistance, weather resistance, adhesion and high temperatures stability.
Application
Main Application
1.Used as cross-linked hardener for pure polyester powder coating. The usage is about 7-9% of the polyester by weight ( depending on acid value);
2. Used as cross-linked hardener for carboxyl-terminated polyacrylate(PA). The usage is about 7% of the resin by weight (depending on acid value);
3. Applied in producing high performance electrical insulating material, self-extinguishing polymer material (as stabilizer of fire-retardant), modified epoxy resin, high effect adhesive, stabilizer for plastic material,etc.
