Tong torque system consists of tong torque load cell, tong torque gauge (installed in the driller display), and hydraulic hose.Load cell installed in the wire line of the power tong, when the drill pipe screws, it will be the pulling force which is proportional with the tightening torque on the wire line rope. This pulling force act on hydraulic fluid through piston of load cell, connect wire line to transmit on the bourdon tube of the gauge.The bourdon tube moves, it makes the pointer through the movement, then indicates the force of the power tong.Use power tong or casing tongs, May not use load cells, connects wire line in power tong or in casing tongs hydraulic pressure source directly.
○1 Fixed the display which loaded with tong torque gauge's head driller in front of head driller.Make the head driller can watch dial directly.
○2 Connected the load cell and correspondingattachment of head driller display by connecting the pipe line.
○3 Adjust check valve of load cell and make the pointer not vibrate heavily.
○4 Make the hand pump and the check valve get through (in the head driller display), turns on the check valve, fill up oil by the hand pump, make sure there is no air, tight the check valve again, continue filling oil, make the load cell piston move until bottom.
○5 The high pressure hose can not stretch tightly, should put it under the drill table then fixed high pressure pipeline on the bottom of de by bandage and soft rope.
○6 According to appropriate tightening torque and hanging tongs arm. Calculates the tail rope pulling force, through the center button of dial, make the indicator of the gauge twist the relevant position. Then screw it, when the black pointer superpose with the swim pointer, stop screwing it.
