Intermingled textured yarn(ITY/BSY)
ITY Yarn is an abbreviation for Intermingled textured yarn, also known as BSY (Bi-shrinkage Yarn) in Iran. ITY is always created by spinning POY and FDY together, resulting in a yarn with differential shrinkage that is commonly referred to as BSY. To produce the desired effects, unique yarn components are mixed in a regulated procedure. It does not require any texturizing procedure. But the handle is similar to the fabrics produced from textured yarns. These yarns have now captured a sizable portion of the fabric industry, particularly in women's clothing.
ITY yarns are typically used for twisting, weaving, and knitting.
