1.Reasonable structure
The magnetic circuit of the winding core is tightly wound without air gap, and the length of the three magnetic circuits is the same and the shortest.The cross section of the core column is closer to the circle. These structural features make this kind of transformer have obvious advantages,such as material saving, high performance, low loss, low noise, three-phase magnetic circuit balance, less third harmonic, etc
2.Low loss and light weight
The magnetization direction of coil core is completely consistent with the rolling direction of silicon steel sheet,and there is no lap joint between the core layers. The magnetic flux is evenly distributed throughout the magnetic circuit, and there is no obvious high resistance region and no distortion of magnetic flux density at the joint. With the same material,the core loss of wound core decreases from 1.15 ~ 1.3 to 1.05 ~ 1.1 compared with laminated core.Only this can reduce the core loss by 10% ~ 20%.
3.Low noise
As the coil core is wound by silicon steel sheet closly and continuously on a special core winding machine without interruption,
So there is no joints and magnetic circle block, and there will be no magnetoresistance and continuous noise like laminated transformer.

The three-phase coils of the transformer are arranged in a "triangle" shape, like the picture below
There is a central natural channel among the coils, the temperature difference between the upper and lower iron yokes is about 30 ~ 40 ºC,which make strong convection and quickly takes away the heat generated by the transformer by natural circulation.
Therefore, the winding and core of the transformer have good heat dissipation, low temperature rise and high overload capacity.
5. Cost saving
Although the one-time investment of S13 coil core transformer is higher than that of S11 stack core transformer, the price difference cost can be recovered in less than 15 months.
