- Structure:
- Conductors: High-flex drag chain cables typically consist of multiple flexible conductors, often made of materials like copper or aluminum. These conductors are soft and easily bendable.
- Insulation Layer: Each conductor is insulated with a layer of insulation material, commonly polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or polyethylene (PE), to prevent electrical shorts between conductors and provide protection.
- Outer Sheath: All conductors are typically covered by an outer sheath, which protects the conductors and insulation layers from mechanical damage and environmental factors. The outer sheath is often made of durable and corrosion-resistant materials.
