MY015-D optical probe is used for local serial communication using infrared communication between static smart electricity meters (meters or other equipment) with optical interface on one side and a PC or HHU (Hand-Held Units) with TYPE-C USB2.0 interface on the other side. on the other. The optical probe parameters fulfill all technical requirements on data transmission in accordance with the standard IEC62056-21 (in the past IEC1107) and the set of users'requirements DLMS/COSEM. The optical probe has a infrared transmit and a infrared receive diode. The optical probe is fitted with a permanent magnet, which ensures that the probe remains attached on the meter during data collection. Data is transferred via an infrared light using serial two-way communication.
This device can be used for onsite reading and configuring of all types of meters or other devices that are compatible with lEC62056-21(old IEC1107) standard. This compact device seamlessly connects to smartphones, computers, or HHU devices, enabling efficient data collection through reliable infrared transmission.
