UELC-Insulation Protection Overhead Line Cover


UELC is a cold-applied wrap-around cover that provides retrofit insulation for overhead conductors to help prevent electrical outages caused by incidental contact from tree branches or wildlife. UELC may be applied selectively on problem spans to avoid costly conductor replacement. It is easy and quick for installation by the hand tool, especially for the short length conductor in substations.
Feature
• Standard color: Red, black, other calor is availale for request.
• Creepage extender to improve the electrical creepage distance.
• Can be coated with sealant mastic inside to improve sealing performance.
• Weatherability, insulating, anti-tracking, abrasion resistant and UV resistance.
• Wide usage: four sizes cover the conductor size up to 1000mm².
• Suitable environment temprature -10~100ºC after Irradiation crosslinked process.
• Wrap around with sefl-fusing insulation tape UEJ80 at the end of overhead line cover can avoid slipping after installation.
