UL Certificated FRP and carbon steel fuel tank gas station
The underground fuel tank is a double-wall jacketed underground tank. The inner steel tank provides structural strength, while the exterior tank made of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) prevents corrosion. A unique standoff mesh and mylar layer separates the steel and fiberglass tanks creating a uniform interstitial space with monitor to ensure rapid and accurate leak detection. underground fuel tank meets UL58, UL1746, and ULC-S603.

Underground storage tanks can be factory fitted with base frames and holding down straps, for ease of installation, and eliminating the need for site personnel to enter the excavation whilst the tanks are being placed in position. Once the tanks are in position the concrete to form the base is then poured from the top of the excavation and allowed to cover the tank base frame. Subsequent operations can then proceed as normal.
