Description

The GKER Photonics Ultra Low Ratio Tap Coupler (GK-LTC Series) is engineered to provide precise and reliable
light splitting in optical systems, focusing on extracting minimal light with high accuracy. Designed for applications
requiring extremely low tap ratios, such as 0.1%, 0.01%, and 0.001%, this coupler ensures that the monitoring
photodetector operates efficiently without damage or saturation. Its exceptional performance is particularly beneficial
in high-power optical environments, making it ideal for monitoring optical sources like fiber lasers.
The coupler excels in high optical power scenarios, thanks to its robust design that handles up to 55W of continuous
wave power. The device is optimized for wavelengths of 1064 nm and 1550 nm, with a standard tolerance of ±10 nm
from the center wavelength. It features low tap insertion loss and minimal signal insertion loss, contributing to its high
reliability and effectiveness.
With excellent thermal stability and return loss characteristics, the GK-LTC Series coupler maintains performance
across a broad range of temperatures and operational conditions. The unit is constructed from singlemode fiber and
is suitable for use in various environmental conditions, from -40°C to +75°C operationally and -40°C to +85°C for storage.
