Product Description
HASTELLOY C276 is an alloy composed of Nickel, chromium, and molybdenum. It is highly regarded as the most versatile alloy for combating corrosion. This alloy demonstrates resistance to the formation of grain boundary precipitates when subjected to welding heat, making it suitable for various chemical process applications in its welded state. Additionally, Alloy C-276 exhibits outstanding resistance to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking, and oxidizing atmospheres up to 1900°F. It possesses exceptional resistance to a wide range of chemical environments.
APPLICATIONS:
1.Paper industry: Digesters and bleach plants.
2.Sour gas environments: Components exposed to sour gas.
3.Flue-gas desulfurization plants: Equipment used in flue-gas desulfurization plants.
4.Sulfuric acid environments: Evaporators, heat exchangers, filters, and mixers used in sulfuric acid environments.
5.Sulfuric acid reactors: Equipment employed in sulfuric acid reactors.
6.Organic chloride process: Equipment utilized in the organic chloride process.
7.Halide or acid catalyst processes: Equipment employed in processes that utilize halide or acid catalysts.
