Description:
Vamac Ultra IP is a high viscosity dipolymer grade. It contains a small amount of release agent. It is a high performance grade and offers good productivity. Exhibits improved processing, better & faster dispersion and lower mold fouling. Provides long-term durability, longevity, superior thermal-, fluid- and chemical resistance. It can retain sealing properties when under compression. Vamac Ultra IP is designed for automotive components, powertrain applications, air management systems, engine and transmission lip seals.
Vamac Ultra LT polymer has improved low-temperature properties compared to Vamac G. The Tg for Vamac Ultra LT polymer is about 12 °C lower than the Tg for Vamac G. The fluid resistance of Vamac Ultra LT compounds is not as good as the G/GLS compounds, but resistance can be improved by blending with Vamac G. The blends with G will have intermediate low-temperature performance and intermediate fluid resistance. Cured compounds made from Vamac Ultra LT have a good combination of properties including a wide operating window for end use temperatures. Vamac Ultra LT compounds are well suited for injection, transfer or compression molding. They also can be extruded.
Vamac Ultra LS is a dipolymer elastomer grade with low oil swell. Contains a small amount of release agent. Provides long-term durability, improved processing, longevity & superior thermal-, fluid- and chemical resistance. It can retain sealing properties when under compression. Vamac Ultra LS is designed for automotive components, powertrain applications, air management systems, engine and transmission lip seals.
Vamac Ultra HT is a high viscosity dipolymer elastomer grade with high temperature performance. Contains a small amount of release agent. Provides higher green strength, long-term durability, improved processing, longevity & superior thermal-, fluid- and chemical resistance. It can retain sealing properties when under compression. Vamac Ultra HT is recommended for automotive components, powertrain applications, air management systems, engine and transmission lip seals.
Vamac Ultra XF was developed, allowing for extrusion of 70-75 Shore A compounds which still have superior green
strength and physical properties compared to Vamac GXF.
Vamac Ultra DX is a peroxide curable dipolymer grade provides improved mold release, comparable to Vamac Ultra terpolymers. Increased green strength of compounds produced with Vamac Ultra DX helps to avoid collapse during extrusion processes and may help in applying reinforcement layers without cutting the inner tube by filaments. The optimized polymer structure ensures gains in physical properties, resulting in improved performance of rubber parts such as cables, seals, gaskets or extruded hoses. The best physical properties of Vamac Ultra DX are obtained in rubber parts having a hardness range between 50 and 90 Shore A. Ultra DX is halogen-free.
Vamac VMX5000 pre-compound series utilize a novel filler system that provide very good physical properties, comparable to Carbon Black, but do not hurt heat ageing of the final compounds. Vamac VMX5000 series pre-compounds offer by 10 to 15°C improved heat resistance over conventional carbon black filled AEM or HT-ACM. Vamac VMX5000 series pre-compounds can be seen as an interesting cost-effective alternative to FKM materials in the temperature range between -35 to +175°C.
