Carton, color box packaging are indispensable in today's life, but in order to play a certain protective role or beautiful, the surface is attached with a layer of film or uv painted. Because its surface is relatively smooth and has no adhesive properties, in order to achieve efficient folding and bonding of carton and color boxes, these must be completed on a high-performance pre-gluing machine, and the speed of the box-gluing machine can reach up to 400 m/min. At such a fast speed, the glue used, cold glue, is difficult to effectively bond to the bare cardboard material. Therefore, the surface of these materials with smooth finish (such as UV coating or laminated film), that is, the place to be glued, usually needs to be roughened. In some more traditional processes, elaborate machinery is used to implement the roughening process ( Such as mechanical milling cutter, sandpaper, brush).
Today, integrated plasma technology has significantly simplified the process. The plasma processor is directly installed on the high-speed pre-gluing machine. After the carton color box is plasma treated, the surface of the carton will be roughened without being damaged, and the surface tension and adhesion will be increased, thereby solving the problem. The problem is that the adhesion is not strong in the later stage and it is easy to degumming.
Based on the low-cost, high-efficiency and environmentally friendly characteristics of low-temperature plasma, the application of its plasma in its box-gluing machine will become more and more extensive.
