Pharmacological Actions: Iodine-containing disinfectants. Through the release of free iodine, destroy the metabolism of bacteria, it has a good killing effect on bacteria, viruses and fungi.
Indications: Disinfecting preservatives. For surgical site, skin mucous membrane disinfection.
Application and Dosage: Calculated as ovidone Iodine, Skin disinfection and treatment of skin diseases, 5% solution; Milk cow soaking: 0.5% ~ 1% solution; Mucosa and wound washing: 0.1% solution.
Adverse Reactions: No adverse reactions have been seen with the prescribed usage and dosage.
Precaution:
(1) Animals with iodine allergies are forbidden.
(2) When the solution becomes white or faint yellow, it loses its disinfection activity.
(3) Should not be compatible with mercury-containing drugs.
