Description
This product is white or off-white freeze-dried blocks or powder.
Function and use
Hormone drug. With the cooperation of pitultary follicle-stimulating hormone, it can promote the final maturation of follicles, induce the ovulation of mature follicles and induce the generation of corpus luteum.
It is mainly used to:
1. Promote follicles to mature and ovulate;
2. Promote the generation of functional corpus leteum;
3. Cure ovulation failure (poor maturity of follicles; delayed ovulation);
4. Cure early death or abortion of embryos caused by hypoplasia of corpus luteum;
5. Cure too short oestrum and repeat breeder of female animals;
6. Cure follicle cyst;
7. Cure male animals with low sex drive , low semen volume and less sperm.
Usage and Dossage
When injected, it shall be diluted with sterile water for injection or sterilized saline water.
A. Application of Cattle Reproduction
1. Treatment of stationary ovarian function: intramuscular injection of 200IU of FSH plus 100IU of LH ;
the dosing shall be repeated once if it is ineffective.
2. Induction of ovulation: intramuscular injection of 200-300IU of LH during mating or several hours before mating can promote ovulation and improve pregnancy rate.
3. Synchronization of ovulation: intramuscular injection of 200IU of LH during the estrus of female cattle after being treated with estrus synchronization can further promote synchronization of ovulation and improve pregnancy rate after estrus synchronization.
4. Super ovulation : intramuscular injection of 200IU of LH 72 hours after super ovulation treatment can promote the maturatio and ovulation of follicles and enhance the effect of super ovulation.
5. Preventing miscarriages: intramuscular injection of 200IU of LH several days after artificial insemination; continuous administration for 2-3 consecutive days.
B. Others
1. Enhance supper ovulation effect on ewes: intramuscular injection of 100-200IU of LH 72 hours after supper ovulation treatment can promote the maturation and ovulation of follicles and make ovulation synchronized.
2. Intramuscular injection of 50-100IU of LH for ewes during or after mating for 2-3 consecutive days can cure early death or habitual abortion of embryos caused by hypoplasia of corpus luteum.
3. Cure male animals with low sex drive , poor semen quality , crptorchidism and impotence, etc.
Caution
This product generally is not prepared into solution for storage in case of deactivation. The dose shall be doubled for treatment of ovarian cyst.
