Linear low density polyethylene (LDPE) is a non-toxic, tasteless, odorless milky white particle with a density of 0.918~0.935g/cm. it has a higher softening temperature and melting temperature, has the advantages of high strength, good toughness, rigidity, good heat resistance, cold resistance, but also has good environmental stress cracking resistance, impact strength, tear strength and other properties, and can resist acid, alkali, organic solvents and widely used in industry, agriculture, medicine, health and daily necessities and other fields.

LDPE has penetrated most of the traditional markets for polyethylene, including film, molding, tubing, and wire and cable. Leakproof mulch is the newly developed LDPE market mulch, a large extruded sheet used as a waste landfill and waste pond liner to prevent leakage or contamination of the surrounding area.
Some of LDPE's film markets, such as production bags, garbage bags, flexible packaging, industrial bushings, towel bushings and shopping bags, take advantage of the improved strength and toughness of this resin.
