Appearance
Colorless to pale yellow clear liquid.
Indication
It is used for the deficiency of vitamin C and all kinds of infectious diseases, ,trauma or burn, it is also used for the treatment of anemia, bleeding tendency, allergic dermatitis.
Dosage and Administration
Intramuscular or intravenous injections of a single dose of 10-30ml for horses, 20-40ml for cattle, 2-5ml for sheep, and 0.2-1ml for dogs.
Side Effects
When administered high doses, it will increase the risk of urate, oxalate or cystine crystal formation.
Precaution
It should not be mixed with alkaline drug(sodium bicarbonate etc, vitamin B12, vitamin K3, because it is easy to oxidation failure.
It has different degrees of inactivation to aminoglycosides, β-lactam antibiotics, tetracyclines, etc. So it should not be mixed to inject with these antibiotic.
It can acidify urine and increase some organic alkali drugs excretion at high dose.
