The wear plates are used in chocks for the rolling mill, especially the cold mill and hot strip rolling mill. We can supply the various material in stainless, copper to meet the different applications. The wear resistance and precision are primary for the wear plates. Our liners for mill chocks and housings made from explosive bimetallic steel. With this material, the benefits of two different metals supplement each other: The material is comprising stainless steel and carbon. The hardened stainless-steel side makes up the wear resistance and corrosion protected bearing surface while the base material is soft and elastic. Comparing to tool steel, the stainless is more corrosion resistant and durable. Our Bimetallic material makes shock protection of the mounting surfaces and chocks while the hard layer tackles wear and corrosion.
