Corn fiber (PLA fiber, PLA is short for biodegradable plastic poly (lactic acid)) poly (lactic acid), also known as poly (lactide), belongs to the polyester family.Poly (lactic acid) is a polymer obtained by polymerization of lactic acid as the main raw material. The raw materials are sufficient and renewable. It is a synthetic fiber made of corn, cassava, etc., which is converted into lactic acid by fermentation and then polymerized and spun.It is a completely natural cycle fiber with biodegradability.The fiber does not use petroleum and other chemical raw materials at all, and its waste can be decomposed into carbon dioxide and water under the action of microorganisms in soil and sea water, without polluting the earth's environment.Burning PLA fibers, which have little nitric oxide, burns at about one-third the heat of polyethylene and polypropylene.Poly (lactic acid) is an ideal green polymer material because its production process is pollution-free and the product can be biodegraded to realize recycling in nature.
