Is Vinyl Fencing maintenance free?
Vinyl Fencing requires very little maintenance. Under normal conditions this maintenance is in the form of annual washing of the fence to keep it looking new. There is no staining or painting needed.
How does Vinyl Fence stand up in the wind?
Most vinyl fences are designed to withstand normal wind load. The amount of load is dependent on the installation of the posts and horizontal rails. If installed according to Showtech Vinyl Fence specifications, the fences are designed to stand up to normal wind loads.
What effects does my vinyl fence have on our environment?
Showtech Vinyl products are safe and non-toxic. They will not breakdown and release harmful chemicals into the ground and do not require toxic chemicals (stains, waterproofing, paint, paint thinner) for regular upkeep like treated lumber can. No trees are used in the manufacture of Showtech Vinyl fences. Because of the exceptional long life of Showtech Vinyl fence profiles, several times the amount of wood that is needed to manufacture the same fence in wood can be saved over the lifetime of the Showtech Vinyl fence. If the Showtech Vinyl ever needs to be taken down, it can be recycled into other products, such as hoses and watering cans.
