It can be used as a preservative for fruits and vegetables, and as an antioxidant for ham, meat and buckwheat flour. As a non-ionic surface activator and nutrient for skin care and hair. Used as a fungicide for lens cleaning. As a calcium salt, it can also prevent osteoporosis and lower blood pressure when used in tea and drinks. The results also show that Vc-Ca prevents the synthesis of DNA of cancer cells, has an inhibitory effect on malignant tumors, and can be used in the clinical adjuvant treatment of cancer.
