Product Description
Product name: sodium bicarbonate food grade / feed grade
Chemical formular: NaHCO3Properties: Sodium bicarbonate is a white crystal or a fine crystalline opaque monoclinic system. Specific gravity 2.15. Odorless, non-toxic, salty in taste, soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol. At 25 ºC, it is soluble in 10 parts of water, while at 18 ºC, it is soluble in 12 parts of water. Its aqueous solution is slightly alkaline due to hydrolysis, with stable properties at room temperature and easy decomposition when heated. It gradually decomposes above 50 ºC and completely loses carbon dioxide at 270 ºC. It remains unchanged in dry air and slowly deliquests in humid air.
Applications: To be as addivtives in food industry, as foaming agent in rubber industry; as acid-making agent in pharm. Industry; as propellant agent in fire extinguisher; as carbon dioxide source in Bear and soft drink.
