It can strengthen the air tightness and the water tightness of buildings. National Construction Engineering Quality Supervision and Inspection Center carried out thermal test for waterproof breathable membrane with a net hanging plaster external insulation system. Test results showed that the value of thermal resistance of waterproof breathable membrane can reach to 0.307 with 3cm air layer. Its is equal to two times of the value of thermal resistance of the air with the same thickness and 43% of EPS insulation board in accordance with the regulations in Code for Thermal Design of Civil Buildings GB50176. Therefore, Its heat preservation effect is remarkable.
