ZCQ series vacuum degasser is a special equipment to get rid of invaded gas, can wipe off the invading gas soon, play important role on recalling drilling mud proportion, keeping drilling mud performance. At the same time, it can also be an agitator with big power, suitable for variable kinds of drilling fuids purification system.
Functions of a Vacuum Degasser
1 Gas Removal: Eliminates hazardous or unwanted gases (e.g., H2S, CO2) from drilling mud, preventing gas migration that could lead to blowouts or equipment corrosion.
2 Mud Density Control: Maintains consistent fluid density by removing gas bubbles, ensuring hydrostatic pressure stabilizes the wellbore.
3 Safety Enhancement: Reduces fire/explosion risks and protects personnel from toxic gases.
4 Equipment Protection: Prevents gas interference with pumps, sensors, or other mud-handling equipment.
5 Operational Efficiency: Improves mud performance by restoring its rheological properties (viscosity, gel ).
