Alashan, this colorful land is a valuable resource that people have praised as The Sow of Heaven. It is located on an inland plateau that belongs to the hinterland of the Asia Continent. High Latitude, far away from the coastline, surrounded by snowy mountains, lack of rainfall, cold winter and hot summer alternate through the year, the big temperature difference between day and night, rich vegetation and few people live together in this vast land. The excellent Alashan Cashmere quality was born and grew in a unique geographic environment.
Alashan is home to Arribas Goat, and the purebred Arribas Goat is the best cashmere producer all around the world. All these make Alashan world-famous as the best cashmere origin. The Alashan Cashmere is very thin, with fineness between 13um to 15um, for a one-year-old goat, the fineness of the fibers from the shoulder and body side can be thinner than 14.5um, with a length over 36mm.
