GASKETS:
Rubber gasket in metal flange or other parts of the connection between the two static surface sealing function of the thin sheet of rubber products referred to as rubber gasket.It can be made by moulding or by stamping vulcanized film.Rubber gasket is widely used in all kinds of mechanical equipment, lifting gasket, sealing and buffering.
O-RINGS:
O-ring is a general purpose annular sealing device with a circular cross section (derived from the "O" in its name). The purpose of using o-ring seals is to prevent leakage and loss of liquid or gas. They are simple, convenient and have small installation space. Long term sealing performance can be achieved in static or dynamic seals as long as the tank design and material selection are correct and the operating conditions are within the temperature range of the rubber material.
The size of the O-ring is determined by the inside diameter ID and line diameter CS. O-ring size calculation: outer diameter = inner diameter + 2x wire diameter (OD = ID + 2X CS).
