Product Introduction:
This instruction is suitable for strip-type off-circuit tap changer with its frequency of 50, 60Hz, rated current 63A and below , and rated voltage 33kV(Called tap changer below). This tap changer is used in the oil-immersed power transformer and being operated under off-circuit state.
Usage:
1. The tap changer should be working within the ambient temperature specitied as table l
table 1
2.There should be no explosive and corrosive air around installation place.
Installation:
1 Before we install a tap changer, please check each part of the tap changer if they are all right, then the tap changer must be taken dry treatment. The operation method is the same as the method of winding
2 Double sealing type is adopted between the tap changer and the tank cover:
That is a sealing washer is put on the lower part of the tank cover, and another
3 When installation of switch, please open the switch cover, press the springgasket, rotate 90°and pull out the gasket. Then dismantle the hand shank and fixed plate, pull out the screw nut, and take out the seal gasket, push out the switch from the tank bottom and put the other seal gasket and pressing ring on the bottom of tank.Then reinstall all the spares above mentioned back.
• Note: After installation, the indicator of tap position should fit for the actual tap position of the switch.
Operation:
The tap changer can be operated when the power transformer is under off-circuit state.
When you operate the tap changer, please lift up the handle shaft, make the locating block on the locating shaft get away from the locating trough on the locating tray, turn round the handle shaft to the needed position then put the locating block on the locating shaft to the relevant locating trough.
After the tap changer has been taken dry treatment, Don't turn it if no oil in the switch.
Notice :
If the tap changer has oil leakage phenomenon, you must check the leakage position first, if the leakage is from the turning axle, please screw up the plug on the axle, if the leakage is from the tank cover, you should screw up the solid nut on the flange.
