Amphibious excavators work on both land and water. It allows the traditional excavator to work in the water so that it can carry out some tasks like dredging, piling, clean the river/dam and a lot more. Furthermore, amphibious excavators can operate in swamp, shallow water and deep water so they are more flex workable than traditional excavators. The upper structure can choose any brand of excavator. We will provide you with a suitable model of amphibious excavator float box based on the upper plate of your excavator. If you do not have an excavator, we will also recommend or customize suitable sizes for you based on your working conditions and requirements.

Operating area
Swamps, shallow water and open water
Drylands and swamps: The Xiyu amphibious excavator is ready for operation, it can be driven out of the trailer, trough solid foundation, for dredging in swamps and muddy areas
Open water:
Open water operations require additional side pontoons and positioning piles.
The water depth of the two types of positioning piles can reach 6 meters.
The water depth of the four types of positioning piles can reach 9 meters.
Thrusters are available for faster and more agile movement in open water.
Shallow water region:
The bottom contact will be maintained until the water depth is 1.2 m for the under 10 ton class, and up to 1.5m for the larger models of the 15 and 20 ton class.
