Before Using the  Rock Drill:
1. Ensure all parts (including rock drill, bracket, or rock drill cart) are intact and well-lubricated. Check for smooth wind and water pathways and secure connection joints.

2. Inspect the roof near the working face for live or loose rocks and address any issues before starting.

3. Ensure the working surface is flat before drilling to avoid slippage or displacement.

4. Always drill with water to avoid dry drilling. Start with water, then wind when operating, and reverse the sequence when stopping. Begin at low speed and switch to full speed once a certain depth is achieved.

5. Drillers must not wear gloves when operating.

6. Pay attention to standing posture and position when using the air leg. Do not pressurize with your body and avoid standing in front of the rock drill to prevent injury from broken brazing rods.

7. If abnormal sounds or water discharge occur, stop the machine, inspect, and resolve the issue before resuming.

8. When withdrawing the rock drill or replacing the brazing rod, operate the drill slowly and be mindful of the brazing rod position.
