Aromatic Macroporous Adsorption Resin for Organic VOCs/Waste Gas Treatment in Petrochemical Industry
PRODUCT DATA SHEET:
SV300 is a styrene-based macroporous adsorption resin polymerized with aromatic ring. Not containing ion-exchange functional groups, it performs adsorption force by its peculiar macroporous structure of high specific surface area and appropriate pore size, SV300 is mainly used in petrochemical and chemical engineering for adorption treatment of organic waste gas such as toluene, xylene, methylene chloride, dichloroethane, solvent oil and formaldehyde.
As compared to general polymeric adsorbents, SV300's superior mechanical strength and adsorptive property allow it to maintain original pore structure even in the dry state. Moreover, its highly loose porosity and as large specific surfacea area as activated carbon qualify its capacity to adsorb a great number of organic molecules within gas, in which the concentration of exhaust gas discharged into atmosphere after treatment by SV300 can reach down to zero.
Another key feature of SV300 is that it is easy to regenerate and desorb. Upon hitting saturation, it can usually be desorbed with steam, followed by organic molecules leave adsorption bed together with vapor to form a steam mixture. Afterwards, desorption liquids flow into condenser and thereby organic solvent and water are separated before organic solvent is recycled.
Apart from adsorption of gas, SV300 can also be used to adsorb organic impurities from aqeous solution as well as solvent oil to reduce the content of COD and organic pigments therein.
