Expanded Graphite Plugging Agent for OBM OMP-2

The OMP-2 is a specialized micro-nano plugging agent for oil-based drilling fluid, composed of expanded graphite produced through a unique process. When pumped into the wellbore, the micro-nano particles undergo elastic deformation under differential pressure and effectively penetrate the formation's pores and fractures. This process significantly reduces formation permeability, prevents further invasion by liquid and solid phases, creates a cage-like effect on the wellbore, enhances formation pressure-bearing capacity, and greatly improves borehole hardness. Additionally, due to its predominantly graphite composition, OMP-2 also exhibits lubricating properties. The recommended dosage ranges from 7.0 to 10.0 ppb.
