This automatic monitoring instrument is based on the nation.al standard HJ/T399-2007 "Water Quality-Determinationof Chemical Oxygen Demand Rapid Digestion Spectro.photometric Method." It employs the potassium dichromatemethod, using mercuric sulfate as a masking agent and silversulfate as a catalyst. After high-temperature and high-pressure digestion, the COD value is determined using spectro.photometry.
