As the coating contains iron powder. AWS E7018 has excellent operating performance, easy ignition and re-ignition, stable arc, perfect appearance of welding and good slag detachability.
2. Welding rods AWS E7018 Application:
A. It needs heating for 1 hour under the temperature 350°before using.
B. It requires the basic metal clearing impurities(such as oil, rust, water etc)
C. Use short ARC, narrow-circuit method of welding.
